Hull 10K 2018

Sunday 9th June saw a group of friends partake in The Hull 10k on behalf of The Godber Foundation, in memory of Cherry Burton CC legend Ashley Godber. Ashley was due to run the race himself in 2017, to raise money for local sporting projects. When sadly he passed away 2 weeks before. Now for the second year running, a group of friends have completed the race. The charity has gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months and there is plenty more left in the tank. We have a lot of events lined up this year and we are hoping for as much support as we’ve had so far. Speaking after the race, Stew Scott said “This was the 2nd year running we have ran this race in memory of Ash and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support. I will personally be running this race until my legs stop me. I’m hoping everyone else does the same.”
