Weekend Preview Saturday 12th May 2018e

The team will be found back out on the cricket pitches of East Yorkshire today as our clubs look to kick on with their seasons.

This is week two for members of Cherry Burton who look to bounce back after an uninspiring and in places ugly batting performance last week fell short of the standards any of the team would call “good enough”. They take on a North Ferriby side also enduring a slow start as both side look to start again on Church Road.

Stew Scott will also be looking to put a disappointing week one personally behind him after his “false start” at Middleton last week. His side came out with maximum points last week but we all know Stew is looking to rediscover his fine form of last season with the visit of Hessle the side he was so destructive against when they last visited Norwood.

Joey Franklin and the Beverley second team will look to continue their dazzling start to the season as they look to make it 3 wins from 3 thus far as they host Heworth.

Of course our ambassador Steven Mullaney is also in action today as Nottinghamshire go in to Day two of their county championship match with Lancashire. Not the best start for Nottinghamshire yesterday but we’ve seen them recover from worse positions.

Good luck to everyone putting their whites on today let us know how you get on!
